Activate Collective

The collective is an extension of who we are and what we do. It is a way for us to share who we are with others, invite them to support us, and partner together as we advocate for inclusion and justice.

Community of Practice

We begin together, at a table group where we regularly share ourselves and the stories of Jesus. This community of practice invites diverse voices to bring inclusive readings of the gospel, with a focus on justice.

This fortnightly community of practice will produce content and resources to share with a larger network; reflections, resources, podcasts, prayer-guides, and liturgy.

    Online Network

We then gather others to join us, reaching out through online channels, to share in who we are and what we do.

The online platform invites supporters to subscribe to our content and partner in our projects.

This online network will regularly invite supporters to use our resources, and contribute financially

    Advocacy Projects

We will raise our collective voice, using our community of practice and online network to drive advocacy projects.

We will organise affirming churches, speak to power on issues on queer inclusion, and publicly spread the message of love and liberation.

We will partner with other organisations and operate projects on refugee justice, on climate justice, and on issues of equity.

We aim to create a powerful movement that amplifies affirming Christian voices for those in harmful environments. Share your message in a quick, impactful soundbite of under 30 seconds, to be gathered and shared online. With your voice and support, we can create a campaign that affirms the marginalised and promotes inclusivity for all.

The goal of this project is to build a community of churches that are safe and affirming for all, led by queer lived experienced voices who define what it means to be inclusive and affirming. The project's underpinning commitment is the Affirming Churches Accord, a statement of commitment to creating church communities that are inclusive and affirming. Through collaborative efforts and the leadership of marginalized voices, we aim to create a world where all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated in their faith communities.
