A family friendly event raising funds to support a family in need this Christmas

Sunday 13th December | 2:00pm – 5:00pm | 100 Drayton Street Bowden

Spend time with family or friends in the lead up to Christmas. Create your very own gingerbread house, using handmade gingerbread from iconic local business, Perryman’s Bakery. Eggnog, mince pies and other festive treats will be on offer and entertainment will be provided by local musicians.

Why are we doing this?

Our friends Rashid and Taslemah, along with their three month old baby Rohan, have been stranded in Cambodia since 2015 after being sent there from the Nauru detention centre. They have received an offer for asylum from the Canadian government, but require $30,000 in funding to get there. This Christmas we want to begin to raise those funds, so that this family can finally be allowed to call somewhere home.
